WHO IS THIS FOR? Care Nest Sangha warmly welcomes people (age 18+) of all diversities e.g. those of: any faith or no faith, differently disabled/abled bodies, different ethnicities, social class, financial position, nationality, culture, sexual orientation, gender identity, LGBTQIA+, and ALL other identities not named WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE? Care Nest Sangha is a community of practice in which we support each other to grow in wisdom, joy, and ease by: sharing teachings and practices in mindfulness studying the roots of these (and their related) teachings from different schools of Buddhism e.g. Tibetan, Mahayana, Theravada, Zen etc sharing, acknowledging and honouring teachings from other religious/spiritual paths e.g. paganism, Christianity, mysticism, Taoism, shamanism, and deep ecology WHO IS IT LED BY? Care Nest Sangha is led by Helen Williams - a Buddhist practitioner of 9yrs and teacher for 4yrs. Helen is accredited with a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification from the Awareness Training Institute & University of California (led by Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield), and is currently enrolled on Gaia House’s Community Dharma Leader programme. WHEN & WHERE DO WE MEET? When: First Sunday of every month (4 May, 1 June, 6 July, 3 Aug, 7 Sept, 5 Oct, 2 Nov, 7 Dec etc) Time: 10am* - 1pm (doors open at 9:50am - no late comers please) Where: Space to Move (2 Charles Darwin Rd, Mount Wise Cres, PL1 4GU) HOW DO I JOIN?
