Louise Handy 

Co-Founder of Space to Move

Louise has balanced the sciences and the arts all her life, and combines her knowledge of the life/health sciences with her joy in moving and performing. She started dancing at the age of 2 and hasn't stopped since.


Practicing yoga gradually took a greater part in her life and as a life-long learner she enjoys diving ever deeper into the spiritual, emotional and mental elements of yoga as well as the physical aspects.

Her 200hr teacher Yoga Alliance training included not only a solid physical/anatomical foundation but also meditation and philosophical aspects of yoga, which Louise enjoys gently incorporating into classes. Louise is a registered RYT® 200 Yoga Alliance teacher, and has completed additional accredited certifications in Movement & Yoga for special needs and those with particular medical conditions, and in Yoga Nidra.

Louise discovered early on how being absorbed in movement helps to switch off from daily concerns, and continues to see what a difference "keeping moving" makes to our health and well-being. As an experienced business woman, establishing Space to Move with Jules as a way to help share this important, but simple, ethos to every body.


Louise teaches Feel Good Yoga, Evening Calm and Yoga Nidra at Space to Move.
