Lunchtime Pilates - Mixed Levels Weekly Class - Thursdays 1-1:50pm - £10 per class with Rachel Gippetti (Sound Bodies Pilates). A welcoming, friendly 50 minute mat Pilates class suitable for those who are new to Pilates as well as for those with experience. About Pilates: Pilates is a powerful practice of strengthening and alignment for both body and mind. With a focus on core strength and connection, you will begin movement from the deepest and most central muscles in your body. Through regular practice you will become stronger from the inside out - increasing your range of movement, correcting and reinforcing postural alignment and most importantly, increasing confidence in your ability to do what you want to do with, and through, your body. Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move easily in. Pilates is usually practiced barefoot, but you may wear socks if you prefer. On arrival, please tell me your level of experience with Pilates and if you have any health conditions or injuries that may affect you during the class.
