An Insightful Intro Workshop to THAI MASSAGE With Emma Cayless from Devon Thai Massage Sunday 2nd June 2024 10-5pm A fresh and insightful workshop, encompassing the ancient healing art of Thai massage in practice. I participated in Emma's workshop myself in 2023 ... such a wholesome, healing, nourishing, learning experience not to missed" Jules Laville Join us for a one day intro into Thai Massage - A wonderful complimentary treatment which combines passive yoga stretching, compression & mobilisation techniques to improve flexibility, circulation and overall well being throughout the body. Thai Massage is an ancient body work which combines rhythmical compression along the ‘sen’ (energy lines), passive stretching and breathing techniques to encourage the release of congestion, adhesions and stagnancy in the muscles, soft tissue of the body. By releasing tension in the body we can increase the flow of ‘lom’ (movement of fluids in the body) improving blood circulation, lymph & neural function and aid the removal of waste and toxins more effectively from the body. Throughout the day we will dive into the basic principles of Thai Massage; sometimes referred to as assisted Yoga and learn and practice some basic techniques and sequences.
