Level 2/ 3 Intermediate Yoga Flow Class (bookable weekly) with Jules Laville DATES: Tuesday 6-7:15pm JULY: 9th, 16th, 23rd AUGUST: 13th, 20th, 27th In the summer season temperatures rise, we often find ourselves seeking ways to balance the heat, maintain our physical well-being, and connect with inner peace. Practicing yoga during the summer months offers unique benefits that enhance our overall well-being and help us find harmony amidst the warmth of the season. Embracing yoga during summer is a delightful and rejuvenating choice. For this Summer Yoga Flow class we will modify our yoga practice to focus on cooling and calming poses. Incorporating gentle forward bends, seated poses, and restorative postures into our flow practice to help soothe the nervous system and restore balance. By adapting our practice to the season, we align ourselves with the natural rhythms of nature and foster a sense of harmony within. These classes /course are suitable for those you have been attending a regular open level yoga class or Level 2 Class/Course or have established a regular home practice. Within this course we will focus on building strength & flexibility, both physically & mentally. With focused awareness, intention and controlled breath, we will learn to both move at fluidly throughout transitions and sun salutations (Surya Namaskar) and also to hold, stay in yoga poses (Asana) for longer to develop a stronger awareness and connection to the 'self' to build stamina & resilience. In Level 2/3 practices you will develop a more energetic understanding within yoga poses and practice subtle anatomical shifts (self-adjustments) you can make by engaging and releasing certain areas of the body. In addition to learning, practicing intermediate Yoga Poses (Asana's) this Level 2/ 3 Intermediate Classes will also include: Meditation (Dhyāna) Breathing Techniques (Pranayama) NO TWO BODIES ARE THE SAME! Please don't be put off my the words intermediate. As with all practices, you will be encouraged to listen to your body and respect today’s limits; to modify and rest when needed.
