Vicki Horan

Vicki is an enthusiastic Dance Teacher and Choreographer, who loves a good excuse to boogie wherever she goes. She initially trained in Musical Theatre, from a very young age, before studying Drama and Contemporary Dance. Throughout her degree, she explored many styles of dance and enjoys taking influences from these different styles to infuse within her own work. Vicki’s choreography style focuses on Contemporary technique, mixed with a blend of Hip-Hop and Musical Theatre rhythm and moves.

As well as teaching, Vicki is also an experienced performer who has had the privilege of performing in a variety of venues locally and nationally. These include the Eden Project, the Barbican Theatre Plymouth, Tate Modern, Her Majesty’s Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe. She brings all of her performance skills and training into her teaching practice to inspire young people and emerging artists. She believes that “young people are the next generation of movers and creators” and “everyone can dance, and should get the opportunity to do so.”

Vicki teaches the Kids Dance Fusion classes at Space to Move.

Vicki’s classes give an opportunity for the young people to learn about dance technique, build their confidence, learn some fun choreography and

show off their favourite dance moves.  We welcome all abilities: beginners, advanced and those who are keen to try something new and give it a go!
